Recharged my batteries and enjoyed my family and the finer things in life. Did some innovation and marketing consulting on the side to stay sharp and work with some SF startups. Achievements: Prepared my daughter for kindergarten; sleep-trained my two-year-old son; broke 100 at Harding Park; back to running 5 miles or more; learning to surf; remembered my love for creating things; learned more about Series A and B companies than I ever thought I would. Critical discoveries: I'm off the charts for design, ideation, visual memory, and communication aptitudes. Innovation and marketing are fields I absolutely need to work in.
