The Office Maintenance Staff ensures a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment. This role involves daily cleaning, supply monitoring, coordination of minor repairs, and assisting with office asset management. Additionally, the role supports the movement, delivery, and pick-up of office materials, including purchasing items when needed, to maintain a functional workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Cleaning:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including morning and evening office cleaning and trash disposal.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and pantry areas, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Supply & Asset Management:
- Monitor and restock essential office supplies, including alcohol, toiletries, cleaning materials, pantry items like coffee, and food supplies for the office.
- Receive office package deliveries, ensure proper documentation, and report them to the People, IT & Facilities Coordinator before distribution.
- Report any lost or misplaced office assets.
Facility Maintenance:
- Conduct routine checks of office spaces to identify and report any damages or necessary repairs.
- Coordinate with the People, IT & Facilities Coordinator for maintenance needs and follow up on repair requests.
- Report any broken appliances or facility issues.
Liaison Tasks:
- Assist in the physical movement, pick-up, and receiving of office-related materials after processing by the admin team.
- Support the admin team in handing over items to transport services for delivery.
- Handle purchases of office supplies and other necessary items as needed
- Previous experience in office cleaning or maintenance roles is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in basic English, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs.
