GIG Rewards is an emerging questing platform that collaborates with mobile telecom operators to facilitate large-scale user acquisition and engagement for partner companies. Users complete various tasks—such as gaming, shopping, referrals, social media participation, and other micro-tasks—to earn rewards like free mobile load and data. Initially launched in the Philippines, GIG Rewards has partnered with Smart Communications, providing access to over 65 million subscribers. With plans to expand into additional countries, GIG Rewards aims to leverage its platform to drive user engagement globally.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead to spearhead our client acquisition efforts as we expand beyond the Philippines into new international markets. This individual will be responsible for identifying and securing partnerships with businesses interested in leveraging GIG's platform to promote their products or services through quests/tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, particularly in advertising sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of digital marketing and customer acquisition strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients across various industries and countries who can benefit from GIG's questing platform for user acquisition and engagement.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients, focusing on industries and regions that align with GIG's platform capabilities and expansion plans.
  • Market Expansion: Conduct market research to identify opportunities and challenges in new countries, tailoring sales approaches to fit regional dynamics and cultural nuances.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their marketing objectives and demonstrating how GIG's platform can meet their needs across different countries.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to each client's specific requirements, effectively communicating the value proposition of partnering with GIG.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations to finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in various countries to continually refine sales strategies and identify new business prospects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of new clients onto the GIG platform.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve targets in different countries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition, preferably within digital marketing, advertising sales, or technology sectors.
  • Experience in international sales and market expansion is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of digital customer acquisition strategies and marketing solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various organizational levels across different cultures.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with the telecommunications industry and reward-based marketing platforms is a plus.
