Job Description

As a Revenue Operations at Flowdesk, you will occupy a dynamic and multifaceted role within our Business Operations team. You will be the centrepiece of initiating and leading a number of key projects, as well as diving into hands-on tool implementation. You will work closely with various international back-office teams, including Finance, Legal, Compliance, and People Operations based either in Paris, Singapore or NYC. 

As part of a collaborative team and managed by Jean-Baptiste, our Head of Business Operations, you will contribute to shaping and streamlining our operational processes, playing a crucial role in Flowdesk's growth and efficiency. Your work will directly impact our internal operations and our standing in the global crypto market. Making your role essential to our continued success and innovation.

Your role and responsibilities

Project Management and Implementation:

  • Lead the implementation and integration of critical business tools, including Oracle NetSuite for billing, Payhawk for expense management and other finance, legal or people management tools.
  • Act as the project manager for the consolidation of the business plan, coordinating across departments to ensure alignment and accuracy.

Data Analysis and Revenue Recognition:

  • Become the owner of the Ops KPIs such as the revenue per employee and the operational gross margin.
  • Utilize Looker for in-depth data analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring accurate and timely accounting of all revenue streams, both recurring and non-recurring.
  • Manage the bottom line consolidation, including sourcing and engineering data, and conducting thorough analysis.

Sales Performance and Compensation Systems:

  • Develop and refine the logic and tools for sales calculation and performance systems.
  • Take ownership of the sales bonus project, ensuring fair and motivating compensation structures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with various teams, including IT, Automation, and Salesforce, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems and tools.
  • Act as the link between different departments, facilitating communication and alignment on projects and initiatives.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting:

  • Continuously seek ways to improve operational processes and systems.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, revenue performance, and other key metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in project management or data analysis are a plus.
  • Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in operations, revenue operations, or project management, preferably in the tech, finance, or crypto industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and implementing complex projects, particularly in tool integration and process optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Looker or similar), CRM systems (Salesforce), billing systems (Oracle NetSuite or similar), and expense management tools (Payhawk or similar).
  • Experience in using project management and documentation tools (Confluence and Jira or similar).
  • A solid understanding of the crypto market and its dynamics, or a strong willingness and ability to quickly learn and adapt to the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively in French and in English is mandatory.
  • A problem-solver mindset, capable of anticipating challenges and proactively seeking solutions.
  • As a Project Manager, this position demands a unique blend of rigor, curiosity, and self-discipline.
