Chainbound is a research and development organization that focuses on high-performance B2B software products in the blockchain space. Our first product was Fiber, the fastest mempool service on Ethereum. We are now expanding to build out our other ideas and roadmap.
About the Team
You’ll be our first hire, working together with the 2 founders. We are remote-first (New York and Antwerp, Belgium), with English as our primary language. You’ll be working closely with the CTO, who is in the European time zone. We are looking for self-starters that are excited about working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Who You Are
- Blockchain engineer with a good understanding of the underlying infrastructureClient software & implementations P2P networking (devp2p, libp2p)
- Knowledge of consensus algorithms (Tendermint, Gasper)
- Strong familiarity with the MEV supply chain & rollups design space
- Programming experience with Rust and Go, open-source work is a plus
- Some experience with DevOps, CI/CD
- Self-driven, able to work independently as well as part of a team
Responsibilities
You’ll be the second engineer in the Chainbound team, working closely with the CTO. Therefore you’ll have a lot of responsibilities, but also a lot of influence and freedom. You will mainly be responsible for:
- Developing new and improving existing products, focusing on high performance and reliability
- Streamline the deployment and monitoring of these products
- Staying on top of developments in the blockchain (mainly Ethereum / rollups) ecosystem
- Researching & coming up with new product ideas
