We are looking for a specialized lead developer to spearhead efforts in developing games powered by Unreal Engine. You will be overseeing all stages of game development from concept to finished product, and must have basic knowledge of all aspects of the game development process.

Responsibilities

• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Manage resources and talent as required by game development projects
• Create unit tests and validation procedures to assure quality
• Polish the game, maintain the code, fix bugs, and iron out any arising problems
• Work with smart contract devs for integrations with blockchain technologies
• Work with the tech team to design and understand the technical requirements for game development projects
• Design and develop core tools in the pipeline
• Oversee development and maintenance of various modules for use in developing games
• Apply experience and knowledge in game performance optimization
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and gaming trends
• Help develop new and exciting game play and experience mechanics for new projects
• Other tasks may be assigned

• 5+ years professional experience in developing games powered by Unreal Engine, and leadership experience in at least one game development project
• A demonstrable portfolio of released games
• A genuine passion for the latest gaming trends, techniques, best practices and technologies
• Working knowledge of version control systems
• Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine including GUI, asset bundles and materials/shaders
• Strong knowledge of object oriented design, design patterns, 3D Math, linear algebra vector math and associated data structures
• 3+ years of experience developing optimized modules in C++
