Social Media Manager

The RoleWe’re looking to add an experienced Social Media Manager to our team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing our brand communities, creating processes that lead to success, and representing our brand on social media and off. To build the MetaKing Studios community, you will work closely with the founding team and report directly to the VP and Marketing Lead.

Our ideal candidate is organized, quick thinking, ambitious, and creative, and has strong social media, copywriting, and community-building skills.

We are looking for a passionate gamer, a professional memer, and someone who enjoys making friends to serve as ourSocials Manager. Working closely with the Marketing Team, you'll design strategy, incentives, and community experiences for the BLOCKLORDS and MKS communities. In addition to taking care of our community on all platforms, you will also be responsible for creating fresh content that keeps everyone interested and excited about new developments such as giveaways, contests and events.

Responsibilities

• Set and track campaign performance goals
• Work closely with the teams to coordinate programming, events and conversations that attract community members who are interested in learning more about our projects
• Design campaigns to drive user growth and engagement, partnering with different stakeholders to run cross-campaigns on social media
• Partner with other web3 communities and games for events and campaigns
• Create and distribute content and community materials to deliver high-quality content to promote the project
• Gather community feedback and create organized write-ups to convey trends, questions, and issues to the team
• Host AMAs, Gaming Nights and special events on Twitch, YTB, Binance Live and in Discord
• Use Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord to grow our users, engage with them, and educate them about our projects.

Requirements

• Passionate about gaming and/or good understanding of gaming communities
• Previous experience growing and nurturing a social media following or creating content in social media (Twitter, Discord, etc.)
• Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, a Podcast series, etc.)
• Strong work ethic while also being able to communicate well with both your superiors and peers
• Experience with growth hacking mindset, writing ability and reading website traffic stats
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
