As a Senior Engineer at Centrapay you'll consistently promote excellence in your team and across the company. You'll be a Senior Full-stack Engineer with frontend flair in Vue.

What you'll be doing

• You’ll be embedded into a team with 2-3 other Engineers.
• You’ll be heavily contributing to our codebase as part of your team.
• You’ll help to set and maintain high standards for design, code, and delivery within your team.
• No direct reports - our teams are self-governed with a huge emphasis on collaboration and bringing everyone on the journey together.
• You'll design upfront and actively promote test driven development.
• You'll practice a high level of transparency where conversations and decisions happen in public forums.
• You’ll ensure that the team has a collaborative environment and empower your teammates to stretch their skills and to help them grow their own influence.
• You’ll champion and implement improvements to our design patterns and our architecture across the engineering team.
• Teams are empowered to have end to end ownership of the products they deliver. Requirements are brought directly to our teams and you'll design and build together.
• You’ll engage with stakeholders inside and outside of Centrapay to gather requirements and create amazing experiences for our users.

Who we're looking for

• This is our core tech stack, knowledge of these or similar technologies is preferred:

- Vue, Tailwind CSS, Testing Library, Cypress.

- NodeJS, DynamoDB, Redis, Jest, CucumberJS.

- Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Sentry, New Relic.

- Github, Slack, Notion, Miro.

• 8+ years proficiency with front-end and back-end languages, and development tools, particularly those mentioned above.
• Strong communication skills and highly effective when working with a team, especially mentoring junior members.
• Demonstrated capability in leading and motivating Engineers to do their best work.
• Business analytical understanding and skills required to form new work and guide product direction.
